Your heart is the center of your thoughts. It controls your emotions, mood and feelings. Whereas your mind which is located in your cerebrum, is the largest part of your brain, controls your thinking ability, learning, vision, hearing, speech, planned muscle movements and other senses. Both of these vital organs are indispensable to human existence. All of your behaviors and actions originate from your heart. But your mind and heart work together to formulate the course of action to initiate, based on what they perceive from your spirit and conscious environment. What does this mean? It means that ideas, notions and rationales you entertain in your mind and validate in your heart, will constitute your belief system, and that in turn will reflect in your words and actions.
It is for this reason the Scripture strongly admonishes that your heart should be securely guarded. Proverbs 4:23 KJV [23] Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. There is also a slogan that says, “the mind is a terrible thing to waste.” The blessed Lord that planted the heart within you knows the magnitude of the power it wields. He is cognizant of its potential for life enhancement, if its properly managed. But also its destructive capabilities if it is allowed to be influenced by negative influences. Therefore, you have an important role to play in the divine functionality of your heart,“for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” Matth.12:34.
The heart as the center of human thoughts, is a spiritual statement and can only be spiritually understood. 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV says, "But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned". Therefore, it is imperative to be aware that your heart and mind are like a freshly plowed ground, and there are two opposing forces that are vying to be able to plant all sorts of seeds into the soil of your heart and mind. One of the forces is what I call “Mr. World” a.k.a (Chaos Garden Specialist) "The Devil". He specializes in sowing tares among the wheat, planting hatred groves, plantations of unforgiveness, resentment, bitterness, envy, jealousy, anger and edges of thorns. Matthew 13:25. I strongly advise that you should not have anything to do with “Mr. World”.
Please read Romans12:2
The second force, is the “Eden Planter” a.k.a (BLISS CEO) whom is God. He is the landscaper and the groomer of the biblical garden of Eden; the forest and the shrub terrace of the whole world at present. He specializes in cultivation of forgiveness, love, peace, joy, long-suffering, forbearance, thriving relationships and united families. If you allow Him to supply the seeds for the soil of your heart, your life will be like the tree planted by the rivers of water. This company is strongly and highly recommended. Please read Phil 4:8. There you will find the edifying thoughts that will shape your life for abundant joy, peace and prosperity.
Prayer: Everlasting Father of Glory, please flush away every toxic thoughts that has accumulated in our hearts and fill our hearts with your own kind of love, and edifying thoughts that will draw us more closer to you in Jesus name. Amen!
